Exam 6: Build a jurisdiction matrix before memorising rules
Exam 6 has jurisdiction-specific versions. An accounting requirement, supervisory authority or filing process belongs to a particular legal and reporting context. Record that context beside each rule instead of merging all versions into one generic insurance-regulation summary.
Worked example or practice scenario
An original study matrix can have columns for jurisdiction, entity type, reporting basis, decision maker, required evidence and source date. Ontario auto rate filing and federally regulated Canadian insurer capital belong in different rows; neither is a U.S. state rule.
Try this next
Select your actual Exam 6 version from CAS credential links. Build the matrix from its current readings and updates. Old forum notes can reveal a confusing topic, but should not establish the current legal requirement.
