Exam 6: Turn a long reading into a rule, trigger and consequence
Regulatory readings are easier to use when you know what activates a rule and what action follows. Distinguish a binding requirement from guidance, an example and historical background. The source date and version are part of the study note.
Worked example or practice scenario
For each assigned topic, make a card with “applies to,” “trigger,” “required action,” “exception” and “source.” A case answer should connect the facts to the trigger, rather than reproduce an unrelated paragraph about the regulator.

Use official updates for the sitting and track changed rules separately. Practise concise explanations with original fact patterns. Do not substitute a remembered rule from another province, state or exam version merely because the terminology looks familiar.
