CAS planning: Keep the ACAS and FCAS requirements visible
An exam schedule and a designation checklist are different documents. Use the current CAS credential requirements to track exams, assessments, courses and any eligible credit or transition treatment. Historical candidate discussions can predate a new component.
Worked example or practice scenario
Build a ledger with each required component, completion status, supporting source and next action. Identify your Exam 6 jurisdiction and the PCPA components explicitly rather than writing a generic “finish preliminaries” line. Keep plans separate from confirmed credit.
Try this next
Review the official requirements and updates before registering. Ask CAS about uncertain credit treatment rather than guessing from someone else’s path. A forum statement about what was required in a prior year may no longer apply.
