PCPA: Prepare for an exam and a project as distinct components
PCPA combines an exam and project. Conceptual preparation and an end-to-end analytical workflow support different parts of that requirement. Verify the current official instructions, prerequisites and transition treatment rather than assuming older ACAS advice still applies.
Worked example or practice scenario
For an original practice project, define an insurance target, validate the data, fit a benchmark, compare a candidate on held-out observations and explain the recommendation. Separately practise conceptual choices such as why a split, metric or model family is suitable.
