CP 311: A case recommendation should acknowledge the binding constraint
A solution that ignores a budget, capacity or regulatory constraint is not an implementable recommendation. Identify which constraint shapes the available options and what trade-off remains.
Original practice scenario
In an original expansion case, distribution capacity is limited even though projected demand is large. Compare phased expansion with immediate full rollout and identify the operational risk. Explain what evidence could justify changing the recommendation instead of giving a generic SWOT list.
