SOA planning: Build a requirement ledger, not an old track checklist
A pathway plan should record completed credit, remaining requirements and the official source for each decision. Exam names and transition treatment can change. Avoid interpreting a historical forum plan as a current requirement list.
Worked example or practice scenario
Create a ledger with component, credit status, source link, applicable transition and next action. Mark P and FM as shared preliminary subjects where relevant, while keeping later SOA and CAS requirements distinct. Record your own confirmed credits separately from intended future sittings.
Try this next
Verify the current ASA requirements and any applicable transition rules directly. Then plan dependencies, study time and registration checks. Do not infer that passing every named exam alone completes all non-exam designation requirements.
