GI 201: A regulatory answer needs an entity and a jurisdiction
Insurance regulation attaches to defined entities, activities and locations. Keep conduct, rate filing, solvency supervision and professional standards distinct when organising a case answer.
Original practice scenario
Create an original case matrix for a carrier, a distributor and a consultant. Identify who issues the policy, who decides rates and who produces advice. Locate the applicable jurisdictional source before assigning an obligation; a generic company-type label is insufficient.
Study check
Write the assumptions, the decision being supported and one limitation. Use the current course syllabus for the required terminology and scope; this introductory guide is not a complete course summary.
